Rocky Mount, VA. They treat female maintenance workers unfair. Less pay, less benefits. Refuse to get them proper equipment and uniforms. But expect them to do more work.

If I could give them a negative number, I would. The doors I ordered, through Home Depot, using this company, have been a nightmare. The doors were cut incorrectly, with them telling us that we were actually getting more expensive hardware at no extra cost because they cut them differently than what was ordered. However, the cuts that were made were also incorrect. They actually cut them wrong and just adjusted the bore holes, figuring it would be covered by the hardware. The doors don't close unless we force them closed with our knees. The dead bolts don't turn completely, so we have a block of wood that has been drilled into the doors so we can twist that to keep the doors closed. That's added to the extra bonus of masking tape on both sides of the door covering the bore holes so insects don't get in the house. This nightmare began 8/8/22 and rather than this company cutting new doors immediately, and shipping them overnight to make up for their mistake, they gave us a new delivery date of Oct. 7th, for new doors. The rep at Home Depot got them to move it up to August 31st. I've just been informed by Home Depot that the new ship date is Sept. 8th, and they will hopefully arrive in New Jersey by Sept. 15th. I will never use this company again and am now looking at other reviews and am extremely nervous about warranties and durability of the product. To say I'm livid is an understatement. Just another example of people/companies not taking responsibility!

I would have given them no stars, except for the fact that they finally sent a competent contractor out. On a brand new house, six of their windows would not lock. Twice, they sent factory reps out to see the problem. Twice, they said we didn't know how to close the windows properly. (Really?!) One of the installed sashes was actually the completely wrong size. This went from August until March. We weatherstripped between the sashes to keep cold air from coming in the house. Finally, in March, they sent a competent person who fixed 5 of the 6 windows and ordered new ballasts for the last one. No guarantee it would actually fix the window. The competent person calls me to set up an appointment to install. 10 minutes later, Ply Gem calls me to cancel the appointment and tells me to install it myself. That's great customer service. Thus, ONE star.
