My surgery at this facility was exceptional work. I was treated kindly my entire visit, the staff listened to my concerns, and I was given some of the best care I've come across in the medical field. This is going to be one of my most reccomended hospitals in this area and I will return if the need arises. I wouldn't want any other facility to care for me. (The card I got in the mail from my surgical team made me cry ❤️)

I don't know why everyone acts as if hate thier job. I wouldn't be surprised after the events of our last visit. The only reason I kept this appt was because it was at the hospital and not at the actual doctors office. However, from immediately walking in you are greeted with nothing but attitude as if it pains the lady, sitting there doing nothing to ask why you are here, she either does not pay attention or can not hear, as our name was repeated 3 times and she still got it wrong, A WHOLE DIFFERENT LAST NAME. The lady doing the digital paperwork calls the name "Minter" so we continue to sit. The lady at the desk points at the room and yells, "she called you" I politely said no ma'am, she called a different name and she responded "well she meant xxxxxxx, so we walk in office where Karen says she put in the wrong last name and proceeds to talk and treat us like it was our fault. She was very rude and short the entire time. This is the 2nd bad review within 8 days. Come on Carilion, you guys need to do better. These people work with the public, the public that is sick, tired and do not feel well, they deserve to be treated better than what we/they are.

Going through early menopause bleeding for wks and Dr Jennifer turner say take Tylenol...I do it don't help...she'd rather I bleed to death than help me...I'll never go back again
