Absolutely beautiful lake. Water is really clear, you can see down to your feet the entire time. The only downside is all of the shells. You have to wear water shoes. Not slides, flip flops, or the cute strappy sandals, otherwise your toes and feet will be completely scrapped up from the shells and rocks. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back

First time to stay here. Love the cabin! They were clean, bunk beds can fit 5, had a grill outside and pretty much privacy. Can rent kayaks as well. It was a nice weekend getaway. We definitely will come back.

We had a nice time! The lake was right out the front door and the shoreline was very clean. I do wish there had been a bit more to do since we went during a time where the water was too cold to swim. I told my kids that they had a playground (because they advertise one) but they only had a swing set (2 kid swings and 2 toddler swings). Also, the mini golf is $8 per person and the course isn’t really worth it. There aren’t any hiking trails and there wasn’t really a good place to fish. Overall, the cabin was great, the restrooms were pretty clean, and the atmosphere was nice.

Cabins were nice. However I would like to take a moment to say, the bathrooms were amazing. They were well stocked on toilet paper and kept clean. I also love that they have heat lamps to help with warmth when it's so cold. Overall a great experience. Will go back for sure.

Yes, but at the cabins, it's only INSIDE if I remember correctly.
do we brink our own sheets. is the grill outside the only way to cook.
No restrooms in cabins be prepared to walk a good distance the showers are far away from most cabins
It's basically in your front yard. Very short distance to the water.
Yes they have showers but only open up to those staying at the park. You get a code to get into showers or bathrooms not open to day passes.
Yes propane is allowed
No
Absolutely! Just give us a call to let us know you'll be arriving late.
Thank you for your question. There are no bike trails at Black Rock Park. Your option there would be to ride bikes on the asphalt road that traverses the park. This road is what customers drive to access campsites, cabins, the day use area, etc. The park is 25 acres.
They do have some but they are just the basic orange ones. It's all ways good to bring your own so you know it fits right.
Can sleep up to 8. There's two bunk beds (2 twins on top, 2 fulls on bottom.) You can also fit a queen size air mattress on the floor 😉
My family does every year with no problems. Make sure there isn't a burn ban in effect.
No, but they have outlets so you can bring one with you. Thats what we do. Microwave and coffee pot, lifes essentials.
You would have to check availability on the reserve America website or call the park.
Had an amazing time didn't experiences any mosguitoes or flys had our family reunion the stayed in a cabin nice and cool
Yes. The cabins come with two bunk beds, a brooms, a trash can, and a small table.
Most sites would easily handle a 33' trailer. I have 31' and easily fit the tow vehicle and trailer in the allowed parking area.
No black Rock is west side the cruise boats are on the Northside. You can get a map of Lake Buchanan at most gas stations and you can see both places and how to get there.
