Wow, we have been eating El Jimidor since it was in Easley (12 -13 years ago) and always loved it. This became a date spot for me and the wife. We even continued when they had their health grade dropped (read it online..minor issues) but today was bad enough that we will not return. We were promptly seated and our order taken. Several tables were seated well after us, then they started getting their food. We still had nothing. Another table but not us. Finally I get my plate but not my wife. So I wait. After 10 mins I told what I believe is a manager and she had another server bring my wife's food out. Now I have my cold plate covered in sour cream (which I asked not to have but its not that bad) and my wife got hers. These plates were barely a snack. A burrito Loco with 3 small shrimp in it. Server never came back. Manager never came back. Went to pay..$30 for measly lunch...im done. Another restaurant will have my business.

It’s exactly what you expect from a good Mexican restaurant - great food, great service, quickness, and reasonably priced. The food was delicious. The salsa they gave us was a little weak so we asked for hot and got torched. Somewhere in between might have been better but it was still good. The service was also excellent. They did make a mistake on some tacos but quickly corrected it no problem. It was even really busy and they did a great job. So I’ll go again. Thumbs up 👍🏻

If I could give zero stars I would! Walked in was seated asked for high chairs waited five minutes or so and went and got them myself standing with 2 kids under 2 is not pleasant. Server comes and takes our drink orders. A few minutes go by another waitress/hostess comes and takes them all again. 1st server brings our drinks out brings the little twos drinks in a regular cup and my 6 years olds in a to go cup. We asked for the babies drinks to be in a to go cup guy proceeded to have an attitude. Had another attitude when we ran out of drink and needed a refill. The tacos and quesadillas were laying in plate of grease. The quesadilla didn't have any cheese. Overall experience was terrible. We only stopped here because they've always been busy and honestly I don't see how. Meanwhile, the table next to us was getting excellent service. They were also Hispanic which was probably why.
