This is a pure example when you let sand people take over our motels and convince stores in the USA. How were they abke to acquire this in our country? I say Run them all out the country! Good Luck with your stay...

A few things ...the owner follows you to your room after check in and is obsessed with who is with you. He asked me if it was my girlfriend, I said no, my wife. I had a friend who had reserved a room with 2 beds. There was 4 in their party. The cops were called on them by the owner because they would not buy a room for the other 2. On to the room. The rate with tax was $110. This was a $35 room at best. I'll leave it at that. 2 days later, both my wife and I are experiencing respiratory issues. Maybe a coincidence. This is a place that I would never consider again.

I recently visited SML for a long weekend and stayed at the Lake Inn. The front desk staff were very friendly and were happy to assist us in any way. Upon arrival we found that our room was not clean. We wore shoes every time we needed to walk across the floor to keep our feet clean. The toilet seat in the bathroom was visibly dirty. We purchased bleach disinfectant wipes to clean the bathroom and sink. After our second night there we removed the “do not disturb” sign from the door so that we could have our sheets changed and room cleaned, and when we returned, everything was how we left it. I went to the front desk to get clean sheets and the ladies there were very apologetic and offered to come make the bed. We did not spend much time there, only to sleep. Although it wasn’t the best experience, it was not my worst. The price for our 4 night stay was fairly cheap, so that being said I think would give the Lake Inn another chance.
