If you are coming from out of state, don’t work for this hospital. They do not care about their employees, and make life for out of state employees especially hard. Throughout my time working here (I came to Montana from another state for college) I was constantly being scolded for simply having a different style of communication, as I am from a different region of the US. It didn’t matter how hard I worked or how many patients I helped. They made life miserable for me. Other employees were allowed to scold me in front of the entire unit. They offered no support and continued to make me feel alienated and like I didn’t belong. I was constantly blamed for how I was being treated. After almost a year of gaslighting and being made to feel like I didn’t belong and nothing I did mattered, I had a mental health crisis that required hospitalization as a result of how I was being treated by this institution. After this happened, they alienated me even further. If you are thinking of working here, please save yourself the pain and suffering and look somewhere else. You deserve to be treated with respect and appreciated for the hard work and talent you have to offer. You will not find that here.

We were at the G.I Procedure Dept. this morning and the receptionist (did not get her name but she had long reddish hair) was wonderful. She put us at ease and made the visit less stressful. The nurse in the recovery room, I believe her name was Starr, was very professional, yet very approachable. My wife, the patient, said the rest of the staff were kind and professional.
