We really enjoyed our stay at Stagecoach Inn. The staff was wonderful and greeted us every time we came in. The beds were very comfortable and super clean. The hotel overall has the perfect Montana/Yellowstone historic vibe. Make sure you read the history of the hotel posted at the front door. Breakfast was simple but good - just want we needed to get started. They are also VERY pet friendly which was a huge bonus. Yet with the dogs there it was still clean and very peaceful. And you can't beat the location - walking distance to every restaurant and store you could need and maybe a mile from Yellowstone's West entrance.

The room was dirty!! I understand being an old hotel/motel, but it doesn't mean dirty. The shower still had hair from what appeared to be someone shaving on various parts of the walls. There was/is visible mold in the shower. The toilet still had some visible residue. Glad I bought my disinfectant wipes to wipe down and clean as much as possible. The bedding was dingy white with signs they need to buy some new ones. The shower mat had some debris on it that I didn't bother to mess with and just put it in the corner. It is a nice location, but there are a lot of other hotels/motels in the area with similar prices or just pay a little more.

Excellent stay. This is one of a very few places where the lobby is inviting and comfortable. There were always people, whether conversing, playing tons of board games (supplied), plinking on the computers, watching the fire in the fireplace, or admiring the real 'old west' character of animals, wood and stone with a grand staircase. Breakfast was wonderful - two waffle machines and all the other stuff. The pool was super-clean and comfortable. The best part - the people. Mark was always there and always available to help and provide good cheer. The room was comfortable, cozy and clean. After long days at Yellowstone Park, this was a great place to unwind. Oh, and a super-convenient laundry room, too!

Overall it was a good stay. Room equipped with everything but a heater in the bathroom would be nice. Housekeeping was great, very tidy and generous. The way to the breakfast hallway seems unorganized and abandoned. Unlike the rest of the place. I would have given a 4 stars but I was very disappointed to find out that we were charged $10 a night for a baby pack-n-play that we did not use at all (we stayed there for 5 nights - $50). When we asked about it and we mentioned that no one informed us about this additional charge they said it is considered another bad and did not offer a refund, which I expected they would do. The housekeeping didn't open or rearrange the pack-n-play's sheets so except for opening it and packing it after we leave there's no reason to charge us. I was never charged for a baby pack-n-play at any hotel in the US or Europe.

I think it depends on the time of the year. During our week at the end of January, I saw not a single delivery truck. To get to the grocery store, you literally go out the front door, turn left and cross the street.
