I returned after 6 or so months. The pictures here are so much more promising than those I took in the past summer/fall. However, their promise is dimmed, with April being the traditional end of the rainy season.

Nice place to get wet or fish. There's no gas here. It's clean and it's a short drive if you want fuel. Nice people to chat with. Ukiah is a great town to visit. The rangers are up tight and on you. That's my opinion so no 5 star for you

Some people were boating. A family with young kids were fishing from the shore. People walking with dogs. Not too crowded.
