I made the right choice with Interstate Truck Driving School. I not only learned how to drive a tractor trailer but I learned about the truck driving business. The program is self-paced so I was able to progress through it rapidly. But, if you do need more time and more instruction you will receive all the guidance you need. One of the reasons I chose this school is there is no wait time to test. When they feel you are ready and you have met all the minimum federal training requirements you will test. The instructors prepared me well enough to confidently obtain my CLASS A CDL the first time! Thanks to all the staff at ITDS!!

I had a great experience attending Interstate Trucking School. It’s family ran and the staff wants to see you succeed. They give you the info,if you use it you will succeed. I can’t believe I’m a truck/her. Thanks you all @ interstate Mr Bill Collins, Josh, Clint, Mike, Fred, Paul, Chad, Bill, Jason, Bobby, Tommy, Kevin, Shu, and anyone I forgot.

The staff are extremely helpful, informative, and friendly. Schedule based flexibility is a huge plus, as you can attend on your own personal availability. Interstate Truck Driving School doesn’t slack with training, practice, and helpful knowledge. They want to make sure you’re comfortable/capable of driving and operating a CMV effectively. I highly recommend this school!

Depends on how quickly you pick up the skills. People have done it in 4 weeks. Most do it in 6-8.
Interstate has a variety of programs for both Class A & B. Class A can run $2995-$5995 depending on if you want just the CDL or if you want Professional training on top of that.
They offer refresher course and are open on weekends. Give them a call and they can give you a list of courses and prices.
Not really because you have to get a commercial drivers permit. Which means you have to have a valid drivers license to take the commerical computer test at the dmv stations. You best bet is to get the regular license and fines and fees taken care of first. And be aware that , some or most companies wont hire you depending on the violations you have on your regular license. Go to a trucking website, and check under restrictions to check. Ok good luck!!
Class B training is available but nothing specific to dump trucks. There are different types of dump trucks so that training would come from your employer.
Just call them. The regulations changed in Feb '22 so the fee went up a bit
$6000 for the class A CDL course and another $1000 if you are doing manual transmission.
I'm not sure but you can certainly call and ask. I'm going thru Minnesota Valley action counsel, MVAC, they are helping me thru a grant. I'd call your local county office because there is $ out there because of the driver shortages.
I can't answer for the school but I got help thru a non profit MVAC, due to the driver shortage.
I paid an extra $1000 dollars for my manual endorsement
$2500 at moment, changing soon. After Feb 7, 2022, law will change. Requiring schooling to get CDL. Price will go up.
$4,500 to $8,000 depending on what kind of learner and skills do you have.
There's only three days of classroom I believe it was like 8 to 2 or 3 a Monday Tuesday Wednesday but that's what I did it because they were do that because of the virus things could have changed but the backing skills and the driving lessons can be done on the weekends too what are said the classroom could have changed since I've done it
You would probably have to pay for some amount of school.
Just under$5000 for automatic transmission CDL-A, just under $6000 for manual transmission CDL-A
Interstate is a school, and like other schools trains to their curriculum of their programs. If you're not interested in taking a full course and are looking only for a few hours of training, I would not recommend looking into a school. You'd be best to look elsewhere.
Go online to interstate trucking school Saint Paul
$3000 for 100 hours and u have to find job your self. $5000 for 160 hours and they will help u with a job. But after all license is the same.
Hey Dawit, Interstate has a variety of programs that range is cost and length. They start new courses every Monday and the costs range from $2495 - $6495 depending on the kind of training you're looking for. They train for Class A and Class B. As CJ said, I would recommend giving them a call to get more information. Cheers!
Any DUI can limit who can hire you. However being that the charge is over a decade old, along with the age of the moving violations I think you won't have a hard time finding work. There are plenty of companies that will work with you.
Give them a call, or stop in, they have different levels of training, at different lengths. Their most common is the 160 hour automatic transmission class A course. It costs about $4500 and is 8 weeks long. However, you can finish ahead of time if you can pass your tests.
study hard, then go take your test, if you fail the first time around at least then you know exactly what you need to work on, best-case scenario you'll pass your first time on everything.
Classes start every Monday thru Wednesday, you will work in class for three days and work at your own pace after that. They are open 7-5 usually and closed Sundays in the winter. The number of hours per course varies based on class a or class b and wether you go automatic or manual. It's best to go with the 160 hour or longer as some companies will accept a 160 hour course/certificate in place of 1 year of driving experience, which is needed for insurance purposes.
Yes I recommend trucking as a new carrier. Lots of jobs, great industry. I recommend Inner State trucking school to get your CDL. Saint Paul MN. Check it out!! Good luck God speed. Safe driving!!!!!!!!
As long as it takes you to complete the course. It's a go at your own pace kind of school
There are jobs available with local companies as well as regional and over the road. Tons of driving jobs in the industry. You can contact the main office to get more details on the opportunities available.
DUIs won’t effect you getting the license. However the more infractions you have on your record the fewer options you’ll have for driving jobs out of school. Anyone can find work. You just many not have a wealth of options.
Interstate offers an easy payment plan for students to pay as they go.
