My wife and I met some friends at the Wedge Brewery late yesterday afternoon and we ate food from the Chop Shop Food Truck sitting near by. There was only one person working the truck, who was playing his music so loud, we had trouble getting he attention. I had to pound my fist on the side of the truck to let him know that there was 2 hungry people outside. We ordered 2 Classic Hamburgers, well done. Once we receive our order, we took it inside the brewery to eat. This was the most god awful hamburger I have ever eaten. It was absolutely raw inside and smelled like fish....yes. FISH. I couldn't get past the smell. NEVER AGAIN.

Great butcher shop, best meat in town! Come here often. Just picked up a 70day dry aged ribeye. They also have a lot of cuts you find anywhere else.

This place is amazing! We come from out of town every couple of months. They always remember us, treat is like we are relatives that just haven’t seen each other in a while. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. As a stand alone butchery they are very reasonable. And, if you play your cards right they always love to hand out samples of the charcuterie they are working on and serving.

We just moved to the area and really happy to find an awesome local butcher. We get our steaks and chicken here every weekend and love the Spicewalla spices, wine and beer too! Staff are extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. It's really obvious they love their jobs and are passionate about the products. It goes a long way to creating a great customer experience and making Chop Shop a preferred choice over other options!

Yes you can! They're good for classes, meat, or anything else in the shop.
No! We use a very small abattoir that does not grade meat (as this would just be an added expense) We feel that all of our beef would be choice or higher (many carcasses would most likely be prime)based on marbling scales we’ve seen. We love our beef based on the TASTE! But to directly answer your question- no, we do not sell USDA certified prime rates beef.

Hi There, We are currently offering curbside pick-up and delivery only...once you order online through our website, our staff will either bring it to your car or deliver straight to your home all while being masked. We are not open for walk-ins at this time.

Hi Jim! Thank you for your question...this is often a confused cut...are you speaking of the spinalis? If so, we do have that and it is $45/lb. Please let me know if I can help with anything else. Sharon Jackson Yes, I agree, it definitely is expensive...the reason is because when the spinalis is removed from the ribeye it destroys the ribeye in a way that we can no longer sell the rest of it as a ribeye steak anymore. $26.99/lb! We can take orders by weight, or by number of bones. We can make the roast boneless, or french the rib bones and hinge and tie it. Hope this helps!
