The Athens Boat Club, Inc. does not produce any fireworks displays. When these displays are done they are done by private citizens on U.S. Corps of Engineers property. The club does not participate in these displays in any way and are not allowed to be produced on club owned property. The State of Georgia has some very strict requirements to get a permit for public fireworks displays and the club is not involved in any way in producing these displays .
