Emory Decatur which was DeKalb Medical Center does have it's pro and cons. Yes, The ER takes forever but remember the staff really has no control on how that works. What I personally saw were some great Techs and RN's but also some awful one's. Remember, It also depends on the way you treat the staff to how comfortable you are going to be. When I got to the 4th floor, Everyone was simply wonderful! Great food as well. However it just seems to be Emory in name only.

This hospital is the worst hospital I am recently in the this hospital with my husband π« I am here with him he is bleeding π on the tube that they put to drain yesterday since 1pm it stop works my husband tell all night and still no one came to fix the problem if anything happened to my husband I will sue this hospital my husband came just to be monitored I do t know what they sid to hime he looks week and he didn't get no help .this place only chang the name to Emory hospital but the system and the staff is the same the mangeme need to be checked don't come here I will definitely be on this I will let my husband to be moved to and hospital but please don't come here. I want to mentioned the charge nurse in 4th floor her name is INGRID never come when we call her she is here most of the time more days in week she has a Bad attitude .and also there is more name and picture and video how they talk to Patient from the front desk downstairs to upstairs here People come in the hospital with the heavy heart we should not be treated this way.

Very unprofessional. Iβve been here going on 9 hours now. If you want care provided by people with a sense of urgency PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Am so sorry that you are hurting. There is a process that everyone has to go through when they are in the hospital you just have to wait until the results are in and he will get back to you.
Emory is doing the most....why do they want to own every hospital in Atlanta
Yes they do! At least main campus Emory in Clifton Road AND yes, Emory Decatur Hospital.
Usually, they send surveys to recently treated patients. You can usually voice your grievances there. If not, try looking on there website.
1st floor main entrance behind information desk
Check any doctor's history and vital statistics before touching your body
Call the main number of the location and then follow the prompts. Go to the website. Do not call the appointment line.
They now owned by Emory Healthcare. They donβt use EPIC software. They use Sunrise Acute Care software
You would have to come to hospital, information services will direct you to the records department.
Only at the professional bldg
I do know they serve lunch, Chick FIL A for sure
The closest one is in downtown Decatur. There's a Holiday inn and I think a Marriott courtyard. Then there are some inexpensive ones on Memorial Dr and on Lawrenceville Hwy there's a Masters Inn. Tons of places to eat, just not too many too many places to stay. You can always Google, hotels around Emory Decatur Hospital.
You just gave to make an appointment with another doctor in the same field.
No free parking, the first 20 minutes is free but after that is $3 from 21 min. to 60 min. and going up.Could be some validate the ticket,in the radiology. But no sure.
If you have no insurence you may go to the emergency room, they will see you. If you have no insurence and need a primary care physician or specialist call Grady hospital about a grady card and they can help you.
Plan a visit, that is something you need to look at for yourself. That's Very Personal and life changing. God Bless you.
