If I could give 0 stars I would. Would not recommend this place to anyone for any occasion. 5 of my family members went here on my moms birthday. When we walked in to see the host, there were probably 30 people all jammed in a small space and the hosts were no where to be found. When we finally got put on the wait list we were told it would be about 50 minutes. After an hour and a half passed we discovered that the hosts were seating people off of separate lists and our name had already been crossed off despite us not being sat at a table. We were finally sat at a small table with 4 chairs even though we had 5 guests. No one ever brought us an additional chair so we had to find one on our own. By this time many of the tables were empty, we waited another 20 minutes and our waitress never came to our table to get our drink or food order. We finally left after not being able to deal with such an unorganized, sloppy establishment. Really wish we didn’t decide to have come here on my moms birthday, this experience left everyone in an irritated and grumpy mood. Will not be back.

This place is amazing! The view was absolutely beautiful and the room was very nice. Everything was clean. The food at the lodge was very good, but there was a long wait once we were seated. The staff were kind.

Large dinning room. Unless on a Holliday or a time that's special requests that require extra staff. Normal meals shouldn't need reservations. Always have good food.
I work there. We are actually closing early this year. We usually do thanksgiving but unfortunately we will be closing on November 7 for the season. Im sorry

Speed limit max on Blue Ridge Pkwy south of Skyline Drive is 45 mph although there are many stretches where 50 is safe. With several stops, you're talking 250+ miles so you better count on 6.5 hours. There are parts you can skip on the interstate to save time if needed.
Breakfast starts at 7:00 lunch is 11:00 till 3:00 Dinner starts at 4 :00.
They have very nice rooms with many accommodations.
