They forgot to give my son his hep A shot at his 18 month appt. I recently transferred them and was informed he hasn't had his second dose. I remember at this office jhc that I asked if he was getting any shots at his 18 month they said no. He was supposed to thankful for their new doctor in Roanoke. My son and daughter had bronchitis Dr Callahan checked my son and said he was coughing because he was fat my son was a healthy weight no where near I ended up taking him to the hospital he was properly diagnosed with bronchitis and given medicine. Sudafed is giving out like it is candy when my children had a cough at all. They don't keep up with records well. No care for children here lots of misdiagnosis. They can't read labs they had me thinking something was wrong with my son and he had to get lots of blood taken of course multiple occasions and finally was referred to UVA just to be there for 10 minutes and be told everything was normal that this doctor did not know how to read labs...that was HORRIBLE for me and my son. This place needs to be shut down.

Same day appointments are fairly easy to get. Try calling first. They'll probably try to have you seen if you walk in but if you call they're more likely to ensure the necessary people will be there.
You should have seen a doctor right away. Could simply be a knot on your noggin or it could be anything from a concussion to a subdural hematoma. One more thing... This site is for general questions and reviews. NOT for medical advice. Bedford Community Health Center would never see it.
