I hired Aqua Pros technicians to open my above ground pool for the summer. At first they were helpful with the removal of the cover. When I tried to ask questions, the technician was short with me and offered very little help in basic items. I had to hire another company and when they arrived they spent two hours helping me set up the pool. The lead Aqua Pros staff person was rude and did very little to assist me in setting up my pool for summer. Some specifics: 1- Aqua Pros did not orient the return (water outflow) in the correct direction. Water was ejected into the middle of the pool when it should have been directed along the side of the pool to produce a whirl pool effect to facilitate filtration of the water. 2- They did not clean the pool completely as promised and left a huge amount of debris in the bottom of the pool. 3- They did not instruct me on the correct use of the pump valve switch and dumped waste water in the yard and produced a gouge in the ground near the pump. 4- The second contractor provide me with a durable hose that funneled the waste water into the adjacent wooded area to prevent this. The second contractor bypassed the sand pump when he flushed the system to prevent waste water from returning back into the pool. Aqua Pros simple sent the waste water through the pump and allowed it to return into the pool. 5- Aqua Pros did not clean the side of the pool as promised. 6- Aqua Pros did not place the old sand from the sand pump in a waste bin and remove from the site. They simply dumped it on the ground next to the pump. I would strongly suggest hiring a local contractor to perform pool set-up and maintenance. Aqua Pros apparently has one or two technicians that travel out of Lynchburg and try to to service a large area of the state. This is why they seemed to be in a hurry to do the minimum amount an move onto the next job.

Unreliable no courtesy. Was put off for almost 3 weeks finally show and did nothing. No good at all. Do it myself. 300 dollars 1 hr then 55 dollars eat 15 minutes CRAZY
