I called to get info about Stonecrest Mill and to check for availability. I was interested in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. The person that I spoke with was very friendly. Answered all of my questions. Told me that there were two 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments available. So I set up a tour, went online and did an application. The website lists security deposits required for every credit score. My credit is okay, and I have a clean rental history. So I wasn’t worried about the $50 application fee. I submitted my application and looked forward to seeing the apartment the next day. I live 2 hours away from these apartments. I’m not familiar with the area. I am attempting to move closer to where my job is located. I dropped my daughter off at school, filled the car up with gas. I called Stonecrest Mill to see if I could come early. The people that answered said to wait until the office opened. Not wanting to be a problem, I decided to keep the appointment that I already had. I made arrangements for my daughter to be picked up from school and headed to my schedule tour of Stonecrest Mill apartments. I put the directions on my gps, and made it there on time. The office was locked. I had to call inside to get in. They knew nothing about my tour. They had to look it up online. They told me they had no apartments available. I was shocked. After being told that there were two apartments available and I would love them. After spending $50 on an application, and driving 2 hours, planning my whole day around this tour, there were no apartments available. If approved, my application would be applied for a waitlist. I was shown a model townhouse. I left feeling empty and ashamed. But hopefully I would get approved for a nice apartment.Okay. A week later I get a letter denying my application. They picked my lowest credit score out of all 3 credit bureaus. I know my credit score, my credit card company monitors my credit. I wouldn’t have applied if it was that bad. Anyway I bit the bullet. I’m trying to move long distance and these are the chances that come with it. I did get approved for the next apartment that I applied for. Great. So tell me why now. Almost a month later, I. Get a bill from Resident Advocate on behalf of Stonecrest Mill apartments for $150? For what? I’m calling today to find out. But Unless you like wasting time and money. Don’t apply here.

Hi Steven, our deposit ranges from $200 to one months rent, based on credit screening factors.
Chances are likely being less than 7-10 years.
