My experience here from beginning to end was great. Every employee I encountered was professional, kind and thorough. When I first called to make an appointment, the woman was very courteous and got me an appointment pretty soon, which was not my experience when I called other places. I was seen promptly after checking in. I never felt rushed and I felt they all wanted to do an excellent job. Dr. Javed was excellent as well and took her time examining me and answering all my questions. I was nervous coming here because my previous experience at a different myeyedr location was NOT good. Trust me, this place is not like some of the other locations.

As a new patient, I was scheduled to have an eye exam and talk to the doctor about a persistent and very noticeable issue with my eye (my primary health provider recommended I get my eyes checked). I waited a month for said exam and the day before my scheduled appointment I received an email that it was canceled. I understand things happens but asking me to wait another two months is ridiculous! Why not reschedule someone who recently set their appointment so I don’t have to stand at the back of the queue AGAIN? Absolutely not.

Update 2020: I have been severely nearsighted for over 35 years. Dr. Favale is the only optometrist to ever tell me that nearsighted people are at higher risk of detached retinas. He told me the symptoms. Thank goodness for him. I had a detached retina and immediately knew what was happening because of Dr. Favale. It probably saved my sight. 2018: Everyone is very nice. Even though I was a new patient I was able to schedule an appointment without a long wait. I was greeted as soon as I entered the office. I have been in glasses for over 30 years, and this was the most thorough exam I have ever received. Dr. Favale was very personable and never seemed rushed. He answered all of my questions fully. I recommend this practice wholeheartedly.

Worst experience make sure they verify your coverage first. Don't deal with the male office manager very rude.

No they don't take it. Right now they don't accept any Medicaid.
Yes we do. We also fill out all the forms for the regular driver’s license as well.

The cost of the exam depends on what type of examination you need, glasses, contact lenses, medical for pink eye or glaucoma or diabetes. Also the actual fee you will be responsible for varies based on your insurance and co-payment.
