I have to say it was a horrible experience. I booked this restaurant for my birthday. I let the waiter freeze my birthday cake at the beginning of my dinner but they obviously did not. When they brought the cake to my table, the cake was completely in a mess. They also lit the number candles too early in the kitchen and when the cake was brought to the table the candles already melted too much and were not in their shapes. The numbers cannot be recognized. I have to say my whole birthday was seriously ruined because of the careless waiter.

Yes, you can either go to the front entrance and have someone tell the host, or go around to the Water Street entrance and ring the buzzer there. There is a ramp that will get you into the restaurant. If the Museum is open you can have the restaurant host tell the museum stuff that you would like access to the Museum. There's an elevator that goes to the third floor of the museum, but the staff has to open it for you.
