Beautiful memorial commemorating those who lost their lives on 9/11. There is a steel support from the WTC with a walkway and bridge as well as beautiful landscaping. It is located in the town park so you can stop by on your way to or from the beach.

Yes
It's in the middle of a big parking lot so pretty much in any marked space
Yes, starting on saturday may 28th. You can buy a season parking pass for the whole summer, it's $125 for residents $75 for seniors (60 plus), handicapped, auxiliary police, volunteer firefighters, veterans, active military. Otherwise daily entry is $10 for Town of Hempstead residents, $50 for non-residents. But that's per car, so it's obviously a better deal if you fill up your car with people. The beaches are only open to Hempstead or Nassau County residents, so if you're from Suffolk you're out of luck.
