The campground is beautiful and well maintained. Not a lot of campgrounds out there with water front sites that offer electric and water hook up. Tubing and kayaking are both great activites. There is a new play structure that is fun for all kids and there is also a couple of volleyball courts. The staff are so friendly and accomodating. I can't say enough nice things about this place.

$16 per person. Always a great time! And great atmosphere! Just remember you NEED to have a drivers license and set of keys to leave with them no matter what! Even if you aren't drinking! And you need to show your cans and such before AND after or its a fee if you don't have them after! Saw a few people just throw them. Also you can ride a little further down the river to where the white sign is (it's about 10 minutes extra past the main bridge you get out at and it's just for those who like more of the fast waters Nothing crazy) People also stop on the islands which is super fun but BE CAREFUL the current on the far side is strong! Not a good place to get hammered at. Especially if everyone is hammered. Super unsafe! This is a great place to spend the day and if you get back before 5 you can go a multiple times. (Shuttles start at 10 run til 5) And you can hop out and swim at different spots. Highly recommend!

We've been coming here for YEARS place is amazing the campgrounds are beautiful right along the river the tubing is AMAZING and the staff is so so SO great! They bend over backwards to make sure you are in the perfect campsite and have an amazing time! Cannot say enough nice things we will continue to go back year after year and have a fantastic time always! STUNNING as always and updated electrical last year.

This is a great place for a fun time. Wonderful for groups, couples, or families. Prices are fair, they hold onto your keys for you, and you can even get a cooler tube! Prices are for unlimited trips down the river with a shuttle and tube. You can take coolers with aluminum or plastic, but no glass (safety!). They will count your glass and aluminum beforehand and afterwards to make sure you don’t throw any in the water or otherwise litter (love that!!). They’ll charge you $5 per lost container. If you’re going down multiple times and want to get rid of your empties and get more from your vehicle or whatever you just check in with them about it and they will adjust your form at the office. The water is mostly shallow and slow going. They offer life jackets for free. I am a big life jacket wearer when I kayak, fish, or am otherwise on the water but I didn’t feel I needed it on the water. Our trip down the river took about 2.5 hours and one was enough for us (it was 90°F) but I could see doing it all day if you’re camping nearby. There’s food and drinks available at the campground and the staff was great. Definitely wear secure shoes, not flip flops. The bottom is rocky and the entry point is faster moving than the rest, so you will want secure footwear. The crew will offer you twine before leaving camp to tie your group’s tubes together. The only thing I wish I’d have brought was a paddle or oar, just so we could paddle away from other groups or rocks or the banks. Bigger groups had them and it was definitely useful. This was so much fun and I can’t wait to go back!

Good Morning Chris! We do require reservations for camping and currently have limited availability for that time frame. For more information please give us a call at (218)253-4329. Have a fantastic day!!
No
They may not be open yet for the season.
Hello Ann! We have some sites with no hookups designated for tent camping then we have sites with water and 30amp service and some full hookup sites with water, sewer and 50, 30 and 20 amp service at them! A little bit of everything! We also have a sewer dump station on site!
The river levels were the best they've been in 5 years when we were there right before the 4th. I would check Facebook for an update because I think they had to close tubing due to too strong a current over the 4th though.
It depends on if it's a holiday or not I would suggest just calling and ask
It is indeed! The water levels are looking great for the summer as well! Monday and Tuesday shuttles run from 10am - 4pm with equipment due back by 7pm and Wednesday - Sunday shuttles run 10am - 5pm with equipment due back by 8pm!
Not sure I always go for the weekend.
You can just tube. I believe you csn bring your own tube but you would need to pay the tubing fee in order to get a wristband to take the bus up the hill
30 for non holiday days
