Pruitt of Brookhaven is great. I highly recommend staying here. The staff has been so on top of it, and the therapy is the best. James is my speech therapist and he has really helped me with my memory. He is so awesome just like the rest of the staff. Ester is by far my favorite CNA and she goes far beyond helping people. I'm so happy here and love the staff. Thank you so much!

Harrowing and unsafe facility….the administration and marketing representatives lied - to my family, our insurance company, and the hospital that my family member was discharged from - about what nursing services they offered and put my grandmother’s health at risk. In fact, our family members had to perform some of the promised services because, after we had committed to this facility, the nurses refused to perform those services. Not only that, the staff fully laughed at her because she couldn’t walk well. Who does that?! This place was supposed to help her regain her strength but instead took multiple opportunities to humiliate and make fun of her. Unfortunately, this seemed to be a common experience with other patients and family members I talked to here. If the bed bugs and rude staff weren’t bad enough, the staff hardly follow any masking protocols and half the floor got Covid including my grandmother! The only saving grace here are the physical/occupational/speech therapists and the 1 nurse & tech (Kika and Esther) who took exceptional care of my loved one.

My mom was here for about a month recently. Wound care was excellent. Everything else was subpar. I would not recommend this facility at all.
I can only tell you of my experience and IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!! When my mo was there it was hard for me to sleep not knowing if they were REALLY providing her with what she needs. Personal, Physical inquiries give you the best results to any questions you have!!! Don't hold back woth any qiestions either. They shoudl be able to answer any and all questions you have about the care of your loved one!!!! Just have patience because it can be trying. Good luck.
I go as late as 6pm, they lock the door at 7pm. You can be there and leave after 7pm without a problem.
I agree, you have to make your presence known. Talk to supervisors and the Director about your concerns.
