10/10 playlist, good coffee, great vibes overall. Perfect place to hold a coffee in one hand and a book in the other

It's pretty creapy interior, not tidy according to my list of criteria, but atmosphere is great and friendly staff.

Ahhhhh! Totally my new favorite homegrown coffee place. Flavorful full roasted coffee. A lot of different cream/milk options. I love the Nutty Irishmen!!!

Decided to give them another try after a bad experience years ago. It's an OK place to meet someone or to work, but don't come here for espresso. Their "small" cappuccino is 10+ ounces; 4-6 would be standard, so it's very diluted. The milk was a frothy mess with large bubbles, no microfoam, and no attempt at latte art. It's reminiscent of what you'd find before third wave coffee when the only competition was starbucks. (FWIW, there shouldn't be multiple sizes for a cappuccino; adding more milk essentially makes it a latte.) If it was cheaper I'd give 3 or 4 stars, but their pricing is in line with specialty coffee shops and the quality is not. Their POS prompts for a minimum 15% tip, which seems typical nowadays. I wish there were better options in the area... Kaldi's at Emory and Dancing Goats in downtown Decatur are the closest places to get real espresso, and both offer a much better cup and (IMO) nicer atmosphere. Otherwise, compared to 4 years ago, the decor has changed a bit, baristas are friendly, atmosphere is fine. There is ample seating, but some of the couches have totally worn down fabric on the arms (exposed, yellowing foam) and need to be reupholstered or replaced. The wifi worked as expected. If management reads this review: there are a plethora of options for training baristas to make good espresso, from free YouTube tutorials to paid consulting programs. Try your cappuccino and compare it to one from dancing goats; you will see why I am complaining. A good starting point would be using bottomless portafilters, an electric tamper, and scales for weight-based dosing if you're not already doing so. Minimal equipment upgrades and a weekend of training would make a huge difference.

Baristas are masked and there is a plexiglass barrier. I just buy to-go but if you want to sit indoors you have to get your temperature taken. I believe they offer a discount for healthcare workers.
