First off I recommend keeping an eye on new director and her assistant...... Get intell on what's really going on. Things are different now that Bob former director has left. ( Making very poor decisions that affect people's lives.) It should be Christian based all around the board not just most of these wonderful people that work there, but all of them and should act upon it. God sees EVERYTHING. Also please do 🚫 NOT allow "clients" to play the race card. It's disgusting to accuse good people of that who are not guilty. You should be way more responsible being in charge of such an important program with a lot of special people donating and supporting it to just listen to any cry of malice. Acting upon false accusations due to fear could very well turn out to affect you in the very same way that you originally tried to avoid. Other than that it has been a wonderful experience for me. I had to leave early, however the tools Ive gained and regaining my relationship with God and the love from people like chap Steve, counselors, case worker, and advocates, Some volunteers, and the team helping me change my life. I take the experience with me everyday through life. Thank you Potters House love you.

Terrible place. Doesn't operate on Christian principles. Staff isn't in recovery. They treated my son like a dog and they have no transitional support. DO NOT SEND ANYONE YOU CARE FOR HERE.
Philip Hembree
Don't go unless you enjoy being in a jail environment. New Beginnings in Christ is much better if you are looking for a "christian" program. Believe me, staffers are anything but "christian" with their own secret lives away from the Atlanta Mission Campus. Just because they work at a treatment facility doesn't mean they are clean.

I thank God for this place.!!! You saved my Son, Matts Life. Thank you for allowing treatment for people who really need it. You are Good People. May God Continue to Bless You.

Yes, go on line an do a application.. You'll need a way for them to contact you.
To the potter house
There is no fees to get into the program. All he has to do (or you can do this on his behalf) is go on line and fill out an application. Go to atlantamission.org and click on "Get Help" and on the next screen, scroll down to "The Potter's House" and he fills out the form. After that, call the number provided 3-4 days after he has applied online. Hope this works out for him. God bless your family.
After the classroom and introspection is done, which was 6 months for me, now about 4 months, clients get "real" jobs such as Kubota, Toyota, Wayne's Farm etc. Then they pay rent, save money and prepare for life on their own.
They don't fix appliances anymore. Or cars. Or furniture. Just people.
Yes he probaly can. He would need to fill out the application online and call the front office
Christ centered rehab that includes sober living after program completion. Saved my life. Not a prison or a compound. It is a campus. There are no bars and you may leave at any time.

Depending where ur located at, but if u call Atlanta Mission thrift store aka Potter House thrift store they should be able to help
Currently no . I've been here for last 3 yrs and about 2 yrs ago they had a small situation with a couple of rooms. They contained it quickly and efficiently. Cleanliness is a must everyone does there part in all areas.
What about phone calls? Would like to call briefly for a check in....is that allowed?
