I've had the opportunity to visit this court 3 times, first time for divorce, 5 star experience, sentencing of a 19 year old, felt like many of the young men weren't given a fair sentencing and most recently a graduation and recruitment of firefighter; superb. Love the officers who were friendly professions. The building was prestine, ample parking, going through the metal detector was neuter than the airport, however you will get confused driving there. Be sure you have your courtroom information as that building is colossal in size.

I was 13 years old when I had to testify in this courthouse because my cousins lied on my mother 🙄 Tiffany Porter was our defense lawyer and the jury took 3 days to deliberate courthouse is super big and beautiful on the inside coming from someone who now lives in Texas

thank you for caring. I truly wish I remembered the name of the lady that assisted me this last week. So sorry that I do not but she was the last window for Superior court and she was training a new staff person. it has been a journey but when I come across a person who is understanding and kind, I want to make mention. she was patient with me and made suggestions that would help. she even gave me information on how to move forward with addressing the court. in the mist of helping me she was showing the person in training step by step what she was doing and why. she is a beautiful reflection of how visiting the court can leave one with a smile. Most often going to the court is never for fun (unless a marriage lic..lol) but from the security at the front to the "lady at the window", I was so grateful for a pleasant experience.

Great new facilities to host jurors!! Comfortable seating with built in outlets, break room with free coffee and snack machine. The process is all displayed digitally and is very organized.

Yes. Go to Gwinnett County court house website. Search for marriage appointments.
Try there website to see if you can obtain copies thru them without going there. Right now everything is being done by appointment only.
You will need to get with your ex and right out an agreement and get it notarized and then go to the courthouse and file for a motion of waiving your rights. However, if you are trying to hand over your rights to get out of having to pay for child support, that won;t work. The only way to do that (which is a sorry move in the first place), is if the parent with the child has a significant other and they actually agree to adopt the child as their own.
Yes. You simply go to the courthouse with your significant other showing proof of county residence, drivers license and birth certificates/SS cards and file for a marriage certificate. If you or your partner have been married before and divorced you will need to bring the divorce orders as well.

Yes you have to go to the law library on the lower level and they will help you there.
There is a lady at the information desk as soon you pass security. Check with her she is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Probate Court
No, the county offices are not open on weekends.
You would have to ask the clerk's office. You can call Monday, ask to speak with the civil clerk's office. You can look online as civil suits can be filed online and you may get some questions answered that way, like costs and if there are limits on how high you could possibly file for. If this is a tenant case it may be done through magistrate court. I'm not sure. There's been a 30-day extension in the court system, but I'm not sure if that includes someone being there in the clerk's office.
If it is available online, which most are. You can print it out online but you will have to pay the filing fee at the courthouse.
