HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DONT RECOMMENDED! DO NOT COME HERE! ITS A TRAP! THE WORKERS ARE HORRIBLE AND THE FOOD IS JUST AS BAD! THEY DOPE YOU UP ON MEDICINE THAT YOU DONT NEED RATHER THAN TREAT YOU LIKE A PATIENT! I SUFFERED 2 Psychotic attacks And all they did for me was tell me to sit down and be happy. They were mixing all types of medication that was not safe when I further did my research most medication they gave me should not have been mixed! They do not care about your safety at all as well. The workers don’t even want to be there and I don’t blame them. Don’t get me wrong there were a few good apples but for the most part the place has no supervision staff runs crazy and nurses do not know how to hand out medicine properly. This is more of a traumatic experience for me and I highly do not recommend you send your kids or want to be a part of this place. Good luck surviving in there for it was hell on earth! Sinks don’t work place is disgusting and you will be constantly lying to you. Whatever you do don’t listen to those nurses. Refuse medication. I can’t believe I’m still living today from that place! It is state run so good luck…

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. They violated HIPPA when my minor child was there by giving out his personal medial information to humans other than their parents. They kept my child hostage with fake reports, even though they were medically stable and I had after care plans in place. I could hear the nurses and staff yelling at the children on the phone. Getting anyone on the phone is next to impossible, and if you do get someone on the phone, they are all extremely rude. They also did not give my child their medications as directed by his actual psychiatrist, so my child left this facility in a worse mental state than when they went in. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy’s dog go to this facility, avoid it at all costs, especially if you actually want a place that may help.

I came in involuntarily from another psych ward and honestly i’m very glad i did. They helped me to get back to a stable state. I built great friendships and met an assortment of new people. Everyone there was pretty friendly.

I was admitted here couple months back the staff was okay the only problem was that when my mom tried to contact them about my discharge date they didn’t answer her it wasn’t until a day after that someone from the front desk finially recived her call that i was sable to get discharged.. it was a Okayish experience I don’t recommend it the units are freezing and they gave us a thin blanket and a thin sheet no blankets were allowed in the stuff from home, we were only allowed 5 minute calls each and they put you on melatonin. I was forced into being admitted and they made my mom sign the paper that said she was okay with me staying, they didn’t slow us much outside time and the only enjoyable thing I remember was watching movies on Easter. Many kids there were kept there for long periods of time and told they were getting discharged on certain dates then those dates would get pushed back. Over all the whole experience traumatized me and I could stop having nightmares about going back the staff was okay and they would make us sit in our rooms for 1 hour or more as a reflection time.

Please call and have the police to investigate immedently. I'm in NC and can't do anything. My friend won't fight them but they've already broke his foot. They got him so screwed up he can't and he hasn't been in touch with me for a week
