Last week I had scheduled an appointment to get consultation on medication I had been taking with the aim of either getting a refill or taking other medication. I couldn't go back to the provider who originally prescribed me the medication because I moved here from out of state last year and I had lost my insurance since then (the latter being a primary reason for seeking help from this clinic). I discussed all of this with the person on the phone who I made the appointment with and we then made the appointment. I came in for my appointment this morning, came into reception to fill out a sign-in form and then went back to wait in my car as they requested because of Covid (which I don't have a problem with). However, after not hearing from anyone after about 40 minutes of waiting, I went inside to check on the status of things and was THEN told by the receptionist that the clinic couldn't help me with what I had scheduled the appointment for. I was taken aback that I had made it through all the preliminary steps to be told the day of that they can't help me. Also, how long would I have sat in my car if I didn't go in to check on things myself? I'm not one to chronically post negative reviews or be nitpicky, but this is ridiculous. Apparently everyone there is not on the same page.

I took a family member to consult and they treated him very well and gave him good treatment for his illness under very professional care. I was happy with the care received.

Affordable, but the wait was ridiculous. Got there at exactly 8:10am and ended up leaving after 12. Just to get a referral for a specialist.

Hello, Our fees are set on a sliding scale; the amount you will pay depends on your income level and family size. As a safety net clinic, we do not accept insurance as most of our patients are unable to afford it. If you do not have insurance, in most cases we are the least expensive clinic you will find. If you need more detailed and specific information, please call our appointment desk at (404) 627-4259 or visit our website at www.grantparkclinic.org where you can create an account on our portal to schedule an appoint, change an appointment, review your lab results, and communicate with the clinic and your provider. All that is required is an email address. Click on the big green button on our website that says "Portal de pacients / Patient Portal" to get started. Otherwise as I mentioned, you may call us at the number above. Thank you for your inquiry, and we look forward to seeing you! Blessings! Staff, Grant Park Clinic

Hello and thank you for your inquiry, Grant Park Clinic is a “Medical Mission” providing primary medical care to uninsured and low income patients in the Atlanta community since 1984. We have board certified MD's and NP's, including OB/GYN and Womens health. Our office staff is bilingual (English and Spanish), bicultural, and we are experts in making you feel at home. At any time, you can call (404) 627-4259 to schedule an appointment or have your questions answered. Please feel free to call to make an appointment, as we have openings for new patients almost every day. Thanks again for your inquiry, Blessings!

The website lists hospitals where patients have chosen to deliver to be closer to their own community. Front desk staff at the office did not know the website said this. Is it possible to deliver at a different hospital than Northside or DeKalb?

While most of our patients deliver at Northside or Decatur Emory, we have available arrangments for Piedmont Fayette, Southern Regional, and downtown Wellstar.

Your website says you have a prenatal program. When I called I was told that you all don't have a prenatal program, but that you just pay a fee to see the Dr. each time. And also pay a separate fee for any tests etc. Is there a program or not? Thx!

Thank you for your interest. If by "program" you mean a protocol or service to evaluate pregnant patients and provide services throughout the pregnancy, then yes, by all means, we do. What we don't have is a canned or pre-set cost that applies to everyone universally. What we have is called "Fee for Service." It actually serves the population well, since there are no costs addded for services you don't need. Please call us, or use our patient portal to make an appointment if you would like.
