My wife has visited this office for the same issue twice. The majority of office staff I hear are talking about their personal lives rather than doing their jobs. The medications my wife needs require her to repeatedly follow up with the nursing/support staff, and she is usually ignored. It takes at least a month of her following up to receive a solution. Communication with the doctors is monitored by the support staff who just don't seem to care about timeliness or effective resolutions. Having to go to a neurologist is bad enough - but having major issues with a careless support staff makes a continued relationship impossible. Remember this review when you have issues and need to find another provider.

I had appointment 9/30/2022 Emory Neurology for a follow up. While I was in route to my Dr. appointment the office called and cancel my appointment. They would not see at all.

I wish I could expound on the incident but I will not. I will say Emory is not organized, professional, structured or empathic. They show no mercy. I always thought it was a prestigious hospital, but it's not for the patients, it's just to teach Residents.

It's really a shame that I've been pushed to give this one star. The doctors, themselves, are brilliant human beings. Unfortunately, the other staff have proven over the past few years to be absolute garbage. It has been made clear that the staff do not genuinely care about the patients. They cancel mandatory appointments with no notice, refills are impossible to get and they almost NEVER respond to your requests. It's impossible to get a human being on the phone and this is someone's life they're dealing with. My husband is literally unable to function without his medications and injections. We will be finding another office to handle this very specific treatment. I don't care if I have to drive out of state. Because the way he's been treated by the staff here is disgusting and unacceptable. Emory is supposed to be world class. And they know it. This is why they can get away with treating patients this way. Because so much of what they do is so specialized. It's sickening. I wish your staff cared the way your doctors do...

I am NOT a doctor. See if your blood pressure medicine has Hydrochlorothiazide (a Diuretic) in it. Sometimes it is to much for some people. My boyfriend had that problem and it stopped when they cut that out of his meds.
Sorry , we are not at emory anymore. Just call the brain clinic and they will direct you. Good luck
yes--But the only appointment would be later this year---and I would need a doctors referral to be considered for the Clinical Trial--So I was hoping to get an appointment with a Neurologist at Emory for referal
