It was an AMAZING place to stay. They didnt have tent camping BUT the price of the cabins was $45 and they were SUPER SUPER CUTE & COZY. Several firepits with benches around the park, at least 2 bath houses & bathrooms were clean, pool, 6 or 7 different pavillions (1 for small concerts, another had 3 different types of grills, & unsure of last one), Club House, playground, volleyball, horseshoes, and the list goes on. We didn't have time to see EVERYTHING but it was fabulous. The owners were so kind, sweet, and friendly even when we just dropped by with no reservation after-hours. Our cabin had eithwr a queen OR full sized bed AND bunk beds. I would stay here every year if i could. Fire wood was $5 for a bundle and it was larger than you typically get. You do need to BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING. **editted to add photos**

Came down for a hog hunt on local state land in May 2022 and my cousin booked this place and had stayed in the cabins before. Didn’t use the RV sites even though I own a camper, we stayed in cabin 2 they are very nice and have a log cabin feel. The AC is under capacity and barely cools it off during South Georgia summer during the day but catches up at night, don’t know about the heater. The doors need gaskets to assist this, and question the insulation R value. The bathroom have no heat or AC which it horrible bathing in May. Overall doesn’t seem light a bad place and considering I will be returning for hunts in the future this place will be on my list.

This place is lovely. The setup is what you you would expect at a State Park. So if you love nature and being close to the wildlife this is the place for you. We decided to skip our stay here because we felt it was too isolated for services.

You will never find another campground like Hillside. It is a beautiful secluded area where you realize you are quickly surrounded by so many amazing people. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of and really takes pride in his campground. Joyce and Jeff in the front office are easily the nicest people we met in Cochran and made us feel like we were part of a family immediately. The spots are spacious, the grounds are always clean, and you are surrounded by people who make you feel like a community. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

I'm not sure on that I honestly wouldn't see why not. But on the other hand ther could be loose hooks etc that would be a question for management
We do have monthly/extended stay sites available. For more information please call our office and we would be glad to help!
We do not provide cable at this time.
We do not have onsite campers for rent. But we do have our cabins! Each one sleeps a different amount of people. Each comes with a mini fridge, a microwave, AC and a space heater. There is no plumbing. But they are located just a quick walk to our main bath house. All you have to do is bring your own linens, enjoy the fresh air and our amenities!!
Summed up well by the Wright's. Wifi is generally good but for light duty.
Nightly starts at $29. For more info, go ahead and call! :)
We have a gentleman whom has a Bluegrass band who performs here as well. He does the line up for us. Hope this answers your question.
