MEDIOCRE! I cannot imagine anyone who actually knows French food thinking that this place is anything but a limp imitation of a French Brasserie. It's about what you'd expect from a "French Restaurant" in suburban Virginia. The potatoes (to accompany the Trout) were NOT FULLY COOKED. The bread was STALE. The "pot de creme au chocolat" was CAFETERIA QUALITY. The server was HIGH (or drunk?). The bill was WRONG. The order was taken down WRONG. For $124 for two, with one glass of wine? Good god, go elsewhere. We didn't interact with a single person who seemed to have ever visited France, nevermind actually French. They (the owners/chefs) should be ashamed of themselves, but then again, from what we saw tonight, that's probably already the case: they know that they're doing a mediocre job (how could they not?) but, again, at $124 with one glass of wine, *it's not like I feel sorry for them*. They can live with their shame for this.

We had the fixed price menus which are full of delicious choices. We added the wine pairings and were very pleased with the varieties. The waitress was very helpful and taught a few new french phrases to our middle school daughter. They also have reservations for patio, so we knew we could enjoy the beautiful night.

We went for restaurant week and it was hands down the best we've been too! We did the wine pairing as well, and it was definitely worth it! We were impressed with the staff, dazzled by the presentation and service and enjoyed every morsel of delicious food! We will definitely be back! ... update, 6months later we went back and every word still rings true!
