This is a small, cozy restaurant with a fantastic ambiance. But the most important is that the food is absolutely top-notch! The onion soup, duck pate, duck breast, seafood, everything is incredibly phenomenal. Tastes just like in France. I won't be wrong by saying that not all restaurants in France reach the level of Le Refuge. There's no better French restaurant in the whole DC area. 5 stars all the way!

Excellent food and service. Charming decor and intimate atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Very responsive via Facebook messenger. Celebrated two special occasions as well as had casual dinner, and have had consistently great quality and attention. Will definitely recommend to others and come back again and again.

My wife and I had an absolutely outstanding birthday dinner at Le Refuge. The service was exemplary and the food was some of the finest we've ever experienced. The escargot were amazing as was the leg of lamb my wife enjoyed. My steak a poivre was outstanding as well. Highly recommended!
