This is the 2nd place my daughter has been. The ER sent her here she just got home yesterday after a week. The drs never called me. A nurse called to ask if they could give her benedryl once. My daughter has been self harm but never violent with others and there was a physical fight with her and another girl on day 3. There were 3 others fighting at the same time and there were only 2 staff around so it took a while to break them all up. My daughter was sent to ER after the fight. Not impressed at all. Will never use again!

I'm giving 1 star because nobody answers the phone when they do its they are in shift change and meds they don't have time which means I don't want to be bothered and I called an hour later like she ask she said the same thing and I told her that she said they don't have time to answer the phone I said you don't have time but we haven't heard from my son in 2 days which probably means he is having seizures and if you don't wake him up for meds he will sleep for days all I wanted was to talk to my son and she yelled at me "I won't be yelled at " I wasn't cussing I just wanted to know if he was OK all she had to do was transfer me to the right floor but no that was too much trouble. I work in a hospital and if I didn't try to help the person on the phone find their loved ones or least let them talk to someone who can I wouldn't be doing my job. I will do it paid or not it's the right thing to do. Yes I had a I'd #, although when I picked up my son he said some people were helpful and some didn't care but he said the counselor helped

It doesn't truly help, at its best it's just a pit stop. It's sad to say but I've been here twice, voluntarily. By the 2nd time, I said this place was not for me. It was EXACTLY the same since the last time. They keep you for 4-5 days, depending on your behavior, and you're put into a "section" where people that have all types of disorders/criminal backgrounds mix. You really have to watch yourself here. Staff/mentors are very straight up and I appreciate it but yeah, I don't see myself coming back ever again. It's all just a waiting game to get out. Just my experience 😞 It's half hospital/half jail

Is anyone else still struggling to make a bowl movement after leaving? It’s been almost 2 months since I was last here, & I still can not use the bathroom like I used to..

While not meant for long-term stays, the average stay for the inpatient program is between 5-7 days, that length can vary significantly depending on the needs of the individual.
Major insurance providers accepted include: Aetna, Medicare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. We accept many more. Our admissions team is available 24/7 to verify your insurance benefits for free. Call us to learn more.
I could ask a MSW about this who actually works for a corporate insurance company. Maybe, it would be good to have insurance companies randomly inspect these places instead of the APA. If this facility doesn't allow random inspections, then defund the place.
All patients will undergo a thorough assessment to ensure we develop the best treatment plan and in the right adult program. Programming 3-5 days per week, 3 hours per day.
If you got to Northside with a drug problem, they have a contract with Lakeview. It is short term but the councilors will help you find the next step. I did not tell you this but it helps to tell them your drug/alcohol problem and if they won't help you you'll most likely kill yourself! That last bits just a little insurance. Good luck on your journey!
They are written on here in the answers. But if you cannot make it for visiting hours they will allow you to visit some in non visiting hours within reason
When you arrive at the hospital, please bring: Enough warm, casual, comfortable clothing for three days Slippers or shoes without laces Travel-sized toiletries (nothing alcohol- or aerosol-based) Please don’t bring any clothing with hoods or strings, or items with electrical cords.
It's tobacco-free now, but they will give you a nicotine patch daily if you request it.
The specifics of your detox experience will vary depending upon a variety of personal factors. In general, though, your time in our drug and alcohol addiction detox program will be focused on minimizing pain and protecting your health. While you are in the detox program at Lakeview Behavioral Health Hospital, you will be under the care and supervision of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other professionals. You may receive certain prescription medications to ease your withdrawal symptoms, and you may also benefit from therapeutic support to help manage any discomfort. Most people complete our detox program in five to seven days. Medicare is accepted.
Lakeview’s programs treat a variety of mental health disorders and addiction issues.
10 days s the maximum you will stay there. They will help to make sure you have somewhere to go afterward, to the best of my knowledge. I was there just a few weeks ago, and a lot of folks were sent there and then moved on to longer care facilities.
I would call them and ask about their policies.
You can call the facility and ask for your medical records.
Not that I was aware of or heard of. Some of the patients get into verbal fights but it never escalates. But everyone is sorted into different groups and some groups or more prone to altercations
Skyland Trail.
Well a lot depends on how involved they are with the groups and help. As well as other inpatients. On average I'd say the chances of a relapse is a 30%.
Someone knows for how long they have been linked to my daughter selpa and they don't give me information about hella
There's usually not unless you're under observation or in lockdown for some reason or something
Yes I don't know I want to know that too if they take Medicare or Medicaid??
You do have to make your own arrangements. I was three hours from home, and one of the biggest issues I had was nailing down my release date. Nailing down a time of release from them was impossible. Makes it tough when you have someone picking you up and you don't live in the Atlanta area. My boyfriend had to arrange time off, etc., and then, after arriving, he waited four hours for my release. I know it's worse for many others - I can't imagine trying to arrange travel from there to Tennessee. I hope it worked out for you.
Try peachford hospital
30010 im pretty sure
Yes.my moms there now 4 that..
No just two days. This hospital is trash
I never got that number but I'm sure that they could refer you to that number if you call the actual main line
