It was great!!! I had a question for Cory, who was in charge of this facility on this beautiful Sunday evening, asking if there was a recycle option for the items (or "garbage", as some like to refer it as) in the dumpsters like the transfer station in Long Beach in Pacific County does. Even though he replied with a no--once it's in the dumpster it stays in the dumpster--he was extremely helpful, as was the woman working who was assigned to our truck. Sad Thurston County doesn't allow their customers to dumpster dive their dumpsters, but always an overall great experience:)

Yes, however can't bring anything with refrigeration or tvs Dishwasher, clothes washers, dryers, garbage compactors, hot water heater all OK
They take everything fluorescent bulbs you have to go to Lacey but other than that trash is trash and they'll take trash
They'll take it as trash, but don't have a composting area.
Rochester prices by volume instead of weight. This can work to your advantage or disadvantage :)
Better to take them to the e-cycle facility in lacey at the thurston county landfill

Midway Recycling on Old Hwy 99 has a contract with the state for e-waste. They take TVs.
