Fry's were really cold and not in the box just the bag LOL π also the garlic Burger was both two buttery more greasy than buttery and very salty but like it's steak and shake it's a fast food place not really looking for the best food just something to fill the stomach π€·

Placed an order for door dash delivery. I ordered 4 meals and a bowl of chili. When the order arrived the driver, left my food hanging on my door didnβt have sense enough to knock; just a text stating my order is at the door. I texted him back asking, where are my drink? He stated steak and shake never gave him any drinks. I called the store requesting to speak with the manager whose name was Scott/Scotty whatever his name was. He tried to argue me that he sent all the food, instead of trying to have some respect and decency about himself as being a manager. I only received 4 burger 2 fries and 0 sodas and some nasty pasta with beans on top yuck! I was disgusted. I know the driver didnβt take them because my bag was still sealed. He was like call door dash and theyβll take care of you. I said sir never mind just know i paid you about $44.00 for some nasty disgusting food and you will never get my business ever again and God bless you and bye. I was so hurt the food was nasty nasty nasty and that was no joke I had to turn around and order Pizza Hut more money spent because the kids wouldnβt eat those hard cold burgers.

Gross burger with a glob of suppose to be Mayo but was butter. It was clumped to one side so didn't notice until half was gone. The manager said thanks for letting me know and said it was mayo. I told him then it's spoiled because it's nasty if that's mayo. Would have just written the review without a star if allowed. Won't be back.

The shift manager young lady is rude and needs to attend a customer service training on how she reacts and doesn't do a thing. It would help to see their score as you walk in. Never saw it posted. Help to have signage to let people know to use self service to place order. Would help if the shift manager was not just sitting in the dining room on her cell phone when I first arrived. Would help if the dining room tables and chairs and floor were clean it was not you had to grab napkins and wipe down. It would help if the services the rest rooms were kept up daily which they are not I had to clean one amd disinfect with my own cleaner in order to quickly use. It looked as if the place hadn't been cleaned or serviced in weeks. Brought to shift managers attention she was calm and said daily I told her it didnt appear that way. She thanked me for bringing it to her attention and she would take care of it. I was dine in there for an hour actually trying to enjoy sweet tea, burger and fries. Food wasn't half bad at all its the service, tea was great but uncleanliness and more of external areas Terrible. I already paid for food prior to using services since they don't offer dine in waiter waitress service. Big mistake. I'll never go back. Also might be a good idea to let workers know not to stand outside and gripe about the place its just not a plus. Also one worker claimed to only speak Spanish when approached so i began to and he ignored me the cook this was. Later I heard him speak some English with shift manager and customers ....Shift Manager also had a chair near drive thru window where eventually she sat though there was a young lady who seemed nice working drive thru. Sent complaint through site with zero follow up. Suggest you pass on by when seeing this place or ordering from through delivery services . The Health Dept has visited i found out after. They need to do so again and the people who own need to clean it up and maintain and get service oriented mgmt and workers. Retraining of current mgmt perhaps?

Was understaffed for our visit as well.
I have never waited that long in the drive thru. Me and my daughter visited the one by the mall and the service was terrible. The waitress did not want too wait on us and i honestly dont understand doing other people as hateful as we were treated.....shame on you stake and shake .

I'm the service trainer here at Steak N Shake. My sorry for your experience with us! If you would please come back in I will make it up to you. I work Monday thru Friday from opening up to about 4.
Potentially a stomach bug, or illness non-restaurant-related. Or related. Thats really up in the air and open to debate. Maybe he should attempt logging his meals more accurately so he can figure this out if it happens again in the future.
