I previously rated this place a 1 star and that was based on a people problem; however I wish to change that to a 5 star because of all the wonderful God created animals that call the Gentle Barn home. Dream the pig is a pure joy to be around and ALL the animals and ALMOST all of the people there are splendid to be around! I would recommend this place to all persons as it can be a healing and or learning experience for visitors.

Do you love animals and care about their well-being? Well this is the spot for you! This is a gem just an hour-ish outside the city! Their mission shines in the beautiful space and mellow energy. This is NOT the petty zoo/farm vibe. These creatures big and small are loved and cared for and it truly shows.

Call and check but I believe not. Their policy does not allow for pets as that could upset the sanctuary animals.

Yes!!!! Cows, goats, pigs... They all love the lovings.
They were all fine together two weeks ago when we were there.
