A beautiful maze of little walking trails that will immerse you in nature and allow you to recalibrate. Stunning forest at every turn, lookout points, other like-minded souls walking their dogs, water, ferns, the giant remnants of old-growth forest, everything sun-dappled or misty. If you want to lose your sense of time for awhile, McLane is a great place to let that happen.

An excellent place. I imagine this is a delightful walk, year-round. The paths were all solid and mostly groomed. There was a partially trimmed tree along the path at one point. The scenic views were 100% worth the visit. This trail 2 small loops linked together, 2 miles for both the Forest Trail and Pond Trail. The Forest Trail is a bit more off the beaten path than the pond trail, bring your boots as there was plenty of mud, roots, and rocks. The pond trail was a little more than an elevated platform walking through a swampy area. The walk was easy, and I was stunned by how much life there was on a wet spring afternoon. This was definitelymore of a stroller-friendly walk.

Easy walk to do with young children. There are a few different trails and a couple different loops (one with an alternate/shorter path). There are benches and viewing areas along the trails to rest at if needed. Public bathrooms and a covered area with picnic tables are both located near the parking lot and close to the start of the trails.

Always a great walk.. My only complaint would be that some people were walking the wrong direction. During this pandemic, it would be nice for the trail to have better signage than painted arrows on the ground of wood sections of the trail. There were a couple people walking the wrong direction, not wearing masks and that's a bit of an uncomfortable situation. All in all, still a beautiful walk 🙂

Everyone is taking this so seriously. That makes it even funnier! "No. Clothes are required. This is a public place." 😂😂

There is a board walk threw out the park. But there are some stairs. There is some hilly spots but if you can push it, this is a great family trail.
