Hotel is a little old and dated, definitely needs some upgrades to their rooms. The common areas of the hotel are nice and they have a bar downstairs which is nice. The staff was very friendly. The parking situation is not good. Very tiny free parking in front if you are lucky enough to get a spot, otherwise you have to pay to park in the garage next door, which does not offer in and out privileges and also does not accept American Express. For $200 a night I expect better. Would have been 3 stars if not for friendly staff.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite on our wedding night on March 5th. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and courteous. The check-in process was great. Parking as mentioned in other reviews isn't ideal, but we made it work. The room was clean and tidy, however, for a honeymoon suite we anticipated more special touches such as a cheap bottle of wine, chocolates, etc. Overall not an issue though. We noticed one robe in the closet and thought it was odd there wasn't two so made our way to the front desk. They gladly corrected the issue and we went on to enjoy a drink at The Petroleum Club. (Had the best Lemon Drop ever!!!) In the morning we were going to order room service, but there was no menu in the room. The restaurant gladly brought us one. We ordered and received our breakfast very quickly but an item was missing. Again, we were happy to go with the flow. In the shower there was a wet washcloth. Not sure if it was from a previous guest or the shower leaked on the ledge. Overall a nice experience and we enjoyed ourselves, but felt the special touches were missing.

It's a nice place to stay. The staff are friendly and pretty great about getting you what you need. The place is pretty clean too. You'll always see someone cleaning something up pretty thorough. The bar is decent and cozy with a decent selection on the wall and on tap and with a billiard table inside to the back. The room I had was very clean, almost like someone shampooed the floors and changed out the sheets completely, which was pretty nice since a bit of them I've been to this year have been subpar on that. The bed wasn't anything to write home about, but it was decent. The reason I like this location is because it's downtown. Walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants that are pretty good. Last time I stayed here was when it was the Crown, so there have been some pretty good improvements.

Front desk staff and rooms were great. Convenient location downtown and not far from airport. Lounge and restaurant on site. Lounge food was good but service was off. Would be helpful if staff was familiar with what beverages they have and how to work tvs. Restaurant food is not worth the money. Walk to nearby restaurants for a better dining experience.
