I love this place! Me and my children recieved help from them in 2014! They helped us to get back on our feet. Thank God for this place. If you go and don't pull your own weight why should they help you? There were women who complained because they had to do chores, even tho they had a roof over their heads! But if you are optimistic and you want to get back on your feet... they help you 💯! The staff were very friendly and had wonderful hearts 💕 I totally recommend this place. Don't go and take advantage of peoples help. You put in work too!! You have to give to recieve! Believe me.. when you need a place to stay, house chores are NOT asking to much. I recommend this place very highly!! Thank you House of Hope! 🏠

When I needed a place to go with my family, they opened the doors to this beautiful home, how others treat the place is ridiculous especially because they provide so much to those in need. My family came from another state and were put in a dangerous position, no other places were available besides a ran down Super 8. When I received a call back I was told all I had to do was pass a Covid test to move in, within a few days my family had shelter and any other source of help provided. Living there made me realize that no matter where you come from or how you got there, you can get back up! give this place a chance and be grateful for them, clean behind you and your children for the next family and respect the staff, they are kind and actually have hearts for those in need.

As a young mom with NO moral, financial, or emotional help, I found myself at this shelter in need of so much guidance. They offered a roof over my head, much needed counseling AND therapy, group support, and the push I needed to be resourceful and help myself. This was honestly the most humbling and beautiful experience in my early years of motherhood. Teenage Egypt would be so proud of the growth I’ve had since leaving here years ago. Highly recommend to any mom in need of shelter for herself and babies.
