every person in lowndes county works from 8 to 5 pm at least. but you go to the permit bldg office or tag office, and they close at 4: 30 and 4:45. why is that? is not like the are outside building houses, laying bricks, cutting grass, puting a roof on a new house with the sun on their back. we are getting screwed.

The Tag office was not busy at all and the staff were so helpful.

Good people! Fast service! My only complaint is they failed to send out notice of renewal, and the amount owed, causing an unnecessary trip to their building!

Great service great staff

Yes they do checks as well
Yes call or go on the website..
All they do is tags and taxes, you have to go to the dmv , valdosta location is Georgia state patrol office
Yes. I am also handicapped and when I brought my car from Florida to Georgia they easily accepted my first doctor's note. You may also want to bring in a picture of your tag. I hope this helps.
You will need a valid Driver's license, Social security card, $20.00 for the new license. For a new tag you will need registration and VIN number, AD VALOREMM fee (large fee that varies) and a payment of $50.00 for a new tag. Custom tags are more. Renewals for tags are $20.00 per year. Hope this helps.
Not sure what the question is asking, but the office is open from 8am till 4:45pm Monday thru Friday, the same for the Drive through.
Depends on age and type of vehicle and type if transfer. Dealership sale, private sale or family transfer all have differing taxes. Look up GA DOR website and search for TAVT calculator and type in VIN.
Depends on if it runs or not you can have a tow truck take it to a garage or take it to a junkyard and they'll pay you for whatever's valuable on it
Not sure. Possibly
Go to office it's open will take about 10 minutes
If you mean the tag either the letter you got in the mail to renew or purchase agreement you get a trash for a new to you care
Call them
Pay property taxes, get tags and titles for vehicles, and mobile homes.
I believe it depends on the state. My truck is registered in Maryland and it expires the end of the month which is not my birthday.
No. You have to go to the office and pay it
5pm
