I recently was hospitalized for an infection after a mastectomy reconstruction. My plastic surgeon, Dr. Kautzanis, immediately had me go straight to the ER so I could get admitted just based on a picture I emailed him. The staff in the ER and the ATU where I was admitted were exceptional. Their professionalism, compassion, kindness, and knowledge made me feel very well cared for. The outcome could have gone bad quickly if Dr K and his team didn’t care for their patients as much as they do. For the past three years, my husband and I have been driving from Pueblo to get our healthcare needs met at UCHealth Anschutz. The Cancer Center, Liver Treatment Clinic, and Orthopedic Center have taken care of us exceptionally well. We won’t go anywhere else. These healthcare workers are amazing!

***If you need cancer treatment, AVOID THIS DUMP! I have had a gun pointed at me twice just trying to find a parking spot, which is almost IMPOSSIBLE! ***In the ONCOLOGY department, of ALL places, people don't wear masks properly, or pul them completely off of their faces!!!!! The patients there have VERY compromised immune systems!! When I mention it to the staff, all I get is eye rolls, and NOBODY ever does anything about the PEOPLE BREAKING HOSPITAL POLICY! ***NOT ONLY ARE THEY BREAKING THE RULES, THEY ARE ENDANGERING THE LIVES OF CANCER PATIENTS, AND NOTHING IS EVER DONE ABOUT IT!!!

Dr. Jaime Arruda & her care team are one of the best I've had! It was refreshing to have an all-female gynecologic oncology team. As a mid/late-20s woman, advocating for my own reproductive care has always been incredibly frustrating. I'm sure many women can relate that external factors such as male providers, age, & spousal status have been unnecessary barriers when trying to receive quality, unbiased gyncologic care. I haven't had any of those issues with UCHealth. Dr. Arruda & Nurse Mari took the time to review my medical history in depth, & helped me make informed decisions for my condition. They took the time to genuinely listen to all of my concerns with compassion, & made sure I was educated about all of the options available to me before proceeding with any decisions. As a patient, I felt valued & my needs were taken seriously. From my surgeon, to nurses, to anesthesiologist, to medical students -- every personnel was exceptional. My treatment was so good that it made me want join the medical profession so that I could help give other women the same experience they gave me.

No one is ever on the same process. Do not trust anyone at at all or any of the appointments you have

What, no... That is not a Google maps question, that is a talk to your doctor question.
Usually 1 can go. It depends on the treatment.
I would call the cancer pavillion as soon as you can. They are helpful.
They have free valet parking bothat inpatient and at outpatient. They also have a parking garage for visitors during the day. On busy days it does fill up.
