These people go the extra mile for you! They not only take the time to know you ... But they truly care about you as an individual.Dr.Z and the entire staff are so professional and compassionate. They have always made my !experience a positive. The front desk is more than willing to help!!! They are truly the best!

Unprofessional…can’t keep appointments or staff and the front desk receptionist for the health clinic is very rude every visit. They don’t care if they inconvenience you and won’t do anything to reschedule when they cancel. Your on your own with them, they don’t care.

The doctor I had seen was great but the front desk girls were rude af. Not pleasant or nice to talk to, they just seemed like they didnt want to talk to to you, period. Get new front desk workers and this place would be so much better. What's with native American old women that have such snooty attitudes?

Super fast and thorough appointment. Best healthcare experience I’ve ever had.

Hi, Mr. Mitchell - thanks for contacting us! We may be able to help - give us a call so we can discuss your needs. You can ask to speak with Tyler, our adult nurse practitioner. Our main number is 303-953-6600. Be well!

Where can I find pure aspirin not chemically manufactured but from plants? Also, are modern day brown skinned Spanish people decendents of Native American Indians?

Sorry, our clinic only carries manufactured over-the-counter aspirin. We don't carry any alternative lines. As for your other question, we would refer you to Denver Indian Center. We really only address health-related-issues.

If i got my roll# and a state Id would that be ok or do I need my tribial id

Denver Indian Health & Family Services | Oct 22, 2019

Our clinic welcomes all Native people and their friends, relatives, no matter the background. State ID will be fine to visit our clinic. If you have your tribal ID, that will be helpful for our billing and tracking purposes, but we don't deny care to anybody.

Do they do dental care?

Yes. They pull teeth. If you need something else they will refer you also.

Is this the only IHS services in Colorado? I live in Salida, Colorado.

Mabel Cerf | Oct 21, 2020
Denver Indian Health & Family Services | Oct 21, 2020

Hello, Mabel - there is an IHS facility in the far Southwest corner of the state near Cortez, Colorado. But our clinic is the only Native clinic along the Front Range. We are a private, non-profit organization, and we are a "compacted" with IHS; we're not a full-service IHS hospital. We're happy to help, and please let us know if you have any other questions.

Is Bill Pourier still employed by the I H S?

Why are there are no emergency services for toothache pain

Douglas Andersen | Oct 22, 2019
Denver Indian Health & Family Services | Oct 22, 2019

We're sorry, Mr. Andersen - our clinic is a private non-profit organization, and we can only provide the services that we can support long-term, and emergency services is a whole different class of approvals and regulation. We can't afford to provide 24hr services just yet. Hopefully one day. In the meantime, we can refer you to different places, or we would have to send you to your closest emergency room.

Do you guys do walk-ins I believe I need antibiotics but dont have health coverage just have my citizenship card.

Your card will be fine! We don't have normal "walk-in hours" but if there is a cancellation, we can often get patients in on shorter notice. Please call and we'll see what we can do! Hope you feel better soon!!
