Poor customer service, especially when I am paying to renew my license. When calling about renewing a license, phone representative was discourteous, a poor listener, evaded my question by telling me we were not talking about the same thing and suddenly stopped talking to me to talk to co-workers who were leaving for lunch. It is embarrassing to have such unprofessional behavior representing Colorado's education.

Can't do negative stars, but they're quite worthy of them. Red tape, robbery and inefficiency abound here. I can only imagine that at least half of this department isn't human.

It should surprise no one that some bad teachers slip through the background checks phase of licensing. The guy who works the special investigations unit is worthless.Years ago he hassled me and another guy I worked with over nothing,.Because he couldn't get our licenses yanked it became a personal vendetta. My friend and I went on to retire with successful careers. You know who you are and you need to step down. You don't do your job effectively.

The CDE was very helpful in providing information and guidance on the CTE Credential requirements for post-secondary instruction. Public education is the greatest resource that our great nation has to offer its people. Education is not a resource that should be limited to those that are privileged; it is a fundamental right which is protected by the US Constitution for all people of all colors, religions, gender and creed. Thank you CDE for upholding these values.

CDE has a bullying prevention grant that gives out $2 million a year to schools across the state which includes cyberbullying prevention. There is also a model bullying prevention policy available for schools and districts. You can find more info on CDE's website: www.cde.state.co.us/MTSS/bullying

Dept of Ed doesn't have the authority to shut down districts, it's local controlled. But the Governor's office is the one to decide that.

How do I get help in working with my student loan servicer, who is impossible to communicate with? They do not return calls, and if I am lucky enough to connect with someone, the wait is prohibitive, like 2 hours +. Can you refer me please for help
