My daughter has had some really ugly associations with the police in the past (long story, not her fault or the fault of the relevant officers). Given this, when she had to go in to report a serious crime, she was terrified. I went with her, figuring I needed to play mediator with the cops and her. She was, unsurprisingly, obstinate and guarded... and a bit more rude than your typical young adolescent. What was surprising was not how the officers and staff were professional (they better be given the circumstances); the officers and staff were incredibly empathetic and humble. They were very kind to her, gave her cookies, and when she started to cry they offered a hug and took their time with everything. It was like talking to loving family instead of a mechanical bureaucracy just processing major crimes like we're another unfortunate statistic. It did so much to put a concerned father at ease, and while it helped my daughter do the right thing, it also helped her heal. These fine women and men really went above and beyond, and they do this every day. Thank you.

Probably a excellent job but the point is not to let the city more down and at least try to make it safer. Because I wish it ranks at least 20th or 30th safest city in the world. So it needs to be focused really hard.

Denver police department has proven itself useless once again. Zero help in a situation when I really could’ve used it, thanks for nothing as always DPD. What a waste

You should be safe to do so, but look for signs. Denver PD doesn't write parking tickets, that is the responsibility of Right Of Way/Parking Authority. They are a separate entity from Denver PD. They only work 1000-1800. You might get towed though (alsoa separate entity). Look for signs that say "Private property, no parking." It'll list the name and number of the tow company (of you do get towed.)

What days and times are available for fingerprinting and how do I pay for it? Thanks!

Stanley Hopper, call the jail and ask for booking. They can provide you with the information you need. Also, the jail is maintained and operated by the Denver Sheriff, not the Denver Police.

MY MORAL CHARACTER , I HOPE YOU WILL EXCUSE ME FOR TREATING THEM LIKE RATIONAL CREATURES INSTEAD OF WHAT THEY PERCIEVE THEMSELVES AS.

Best to have an attorney present at all times when dealing with Police.

Do you believe mexican police are discriminatory or racist against blacks.

As a whole, most cops I believe are good, moral, individuals who do the job for the right reasons. As in every job, there are bad apples. I really think that Denver cops are doing their best to combat crime no matter the race. The problem is they deal with the worst of people on a daily basis which leaves them jaded. This can cause emotional biases due to constant contact with certain individuals. Race really means nothing. It depends on the individual contact with the person they are dealing with. The human being. If anyone they come in contact with treats the cop "as they would want to be treated" I firmly believe the outcome would be different. I've had a bad experience with Denver PD but I've also had good outcomes with cops with Denver. It all comes down to how "you want to be treated". Race shouldn't be an issue anymore. Human beings is what we all are matter where you come from. Respect ours laws and enjoy the freedom. 🇺🇸

Does it matter if a dealer beats you up, steals your money and throws or forces drugs on you, ..Do you Are you the one to get in trouble ?

I would say no. However, you need to admit to yourself as having a severe problem with drug abuse and seek help to fix the issue. There is no doubt that being a victim of theft and assault is a huge problem. I certainly feel sorry that this could have happened. Please help yourself and seek help. Once you've sought help, you won't be engaged in dealing with the jackass dealers and gangsters. At this point, you can become a concerned citizen and go after these delinquent individuals using the the police which you already pay taxes for. This can only bring you closure and peace knowing that the cops aint looking for you, instead are going after the people that hurt your children or someone else's children. Stay strong, do the right thing, and live in peace and happiness.
