Evergreen Park

Austin

It's a small neighborhood park. Good shade, but with good open spaces. The north end of the park has a giant hill that is great for ice blocking in the summer and sledding in the winter. The south end has a pavilion that the neighborhood keeps relatively clean. The community loves to bring their dogs to run around. They are in the process of updating the playground equipment, which shows how important these kinds of parks are to the city.

Mailea Armatage

Massive grass area all around the playground, a pavilion with picnic tables, and swings. The grassy area is big enough to play a little baseball :)
