The building was well maintained, nice pool area, and the breakfast was very good with a nice selection of both hot and cold offerings. That said, our room was supposed to have 2 queen beds but had 2 double beds instead. The room had dirty towels in it upon check in. Staff did send someone to clean the bathroom, but we were not offered a room with the correct bed sizes.

Hotel needs a DEEP CLEAN!!! Like serious DEEP CLEAN!!! The staff was very kind but couldn't resolve the TV remote issue. After working on it for over an hour and 4 remotes later it still did not work. Drove 5 hours and just wanted to relax when we arrived before heading out for the evening. The several asks to provide what I paid for in our room was never received. I paid extra for the amenities that were not in the room when we arrived and never showed up. Extremely frustrating! As well as the hot tub is NOT hot! Its like a small pool with jets. What is the point?! This could be a wonderful place but the Hilton brand name did not hold up to the standards we expected upon arrival.

I don't know where to start. From the minute my family and I got there we noticed how filthy it was. The carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed and the floors were sticky! The phone had a white film on it and was covered in dust. There was a big square patch glued on to the wall that was peeling off and the wall was covered with a white substance. We couldn't even use the ceiling fan because it was covered in so much dust! The AC unit was not even working right, and on top of that when we turned the heater on there was a smell of some sort that was not normal, more of like a chemical smell. There was tiles cracked in the shower and the shower head was spraying out from the side when my children were trying to shower. The towels were so rough, as well as the bedding. Wow how cheap the bedding was we were itching laying in bed trying to get comfortable the whole time.that did not happen we decide to pack up and leave. We didn't even make it a whole night. I felt like I was going to get pink eye or an infection of some sort. It was HORRIBLE! I do not recommend this place to anyone. $165 for this is such a rip off. Stay away! #328 O and we did take pictures for corporate by the way.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Tyler. The staff get a 10/10! They are so friendly and happy to help make your stay one to remember. My stay came with complementary breakfast that was hot and ready when I needed it and pretty healthy too. The gym had plenty of towels and sanitizer wipes to clean the equipment before and after use. There were plenty of restaurants near by, easily within a 5 minute drive, including a Wal-Mart neighborhood store. Next time I visit Tyler I will definitely be staying at the Homewood Suites again!
