My husband and I made the last minute decision to drive up to Castle Rock from Southern AZ to surprise our family for our nephew's first birthday. We had a reservation with another hotel, but that hotel refused to let us check in early even though we had requested it the day before. The La Quinta staff were so kind - they booked us right away and let us check in early with no problem. Each and every one of the staff members went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend staying here. They will make you feel at home!

First off, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and quite. The reasons I'm only giving 3 stars are: 1. My sister fell getting out of the shower. This was totally preventable. There was nothing in the the tub to make it non slip and there were no grab bars anywhere. This is a safety issue and should be addressed. 2. The free breakfast was not that great. Waffles, instead oatmeal, bagels, toSt, pastries. If you wanted protein your choices were hard boiled eggs and yogurt.

Ryan, the front desk clerk was exceptional. She went above and beyond to help me with an issue I was having with my Wyndam rewards account. I can’t remember a more positive experience with a front desk clerk. She’s a star!

Positive: Younger adult clerk very nive and helpful. Older gentleman not so much. Negative: No breakfast, was told because of Covid; am on vacation and Quality was the only hotel not offering food of any kind!
