Easy reservation made for a Sunday brunch. Was welcomed by a friendly, polite and professional hostess who promptly us to a table for two. Waitress was equally friendly and professional. Food, and service was great. Will definitely come back.

Local family owned high-end soul food. Supporting black business. Chic place for high quality soul with some kickin' cocktails. Excellent catfish, and biscuits. The most amazing cheese grits I've ever had. Applause for doing it right! Respect.

Based on the great reviews, decided to check out BLVD Bistro. The location is very convenient for those who are traveling via subway. The space inside appeared to be small, but lively. We were able to walk-in without having to wait (would recommend reservations when possible). The service was average. Mike, our waiter, was extremely soft-spoken and I ended up asking him to repeat himself several times (especially with the music playing). I ordered the Wood Smoked Chicken with rice/beans and collard greens. The collard greens were a bit spicy. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and rice/beans. I will definitely dine at BLVD Bistro in the future!

I would not recommend going to this restaurant if you're hungry and would like to eat in a timely manner. We had a 4 pm reservation for "All Day Brunch". All Day Brunch doesn't really exist at 4 pm until closing the menu change over to dinner. We arrived on time and check in with the hostess told we would be seated shortly that part never happened. We ended up finding 2 seats after the bar. Now the drinks were good. However the kitchen didn't open up for service until after 5. We order our appetizers and entrée at 5:07. Almost an hour later st 5:57 we received our entrée never received our appetizers after inquiring about them 30 mins later after ordering. Now when ordering out food with the bartender Abraham my friend inquired abt substitution as she doesn't eat potato salad. He stated substitution aren't allowed on the weekends only week days. Then proceeded to ask us if we were at a white owned establishment would we ask them to accommodate substitutions if they stated its not allowed. My response was if we were at a white Owned establishment we would have been seated promptly with a reservation and won't be sitting at the bar in order to get service. He then ask does my friend have diet restrictions I listed them all. He proceeded to look at her to determine if this was true or not. After all of this he asked would she like to substitute the potato salad for she stated yams. He replied was why didn't you just say that from the beginning..... After receiving our food at 5:57 pm my Salmon was extremely uncooked in the center he took it and they put in the broiler to cook it all the way through unacceptable. Abraham ask if we wanted anything to try to accommodate their bad service. We both stated NO because the experience is ruined for us giving us free shots doesn't make up for the extremely poor customer service we were given.

I have no idea..I'm a customer eating here.
Hello, Thank you for your question and replies to the question at hand. Blvd Bistro follows all the NYC requirements. We have indoor and heated outdoor seating. Our indoor seatings are 6ft apart and the booths mentioned Ms. Boogy has partitions which is required when tables are not 6ft apart. We also require all our staff to wear a mask at all times. And guest are require to wear mask when they enter the restaurant and when they are away from there tables. All guest and staff are required to check into the restaurant and have temperature checks. There is sanitizing stations throughout the restaurant and 6ft labels are all through the restaurant. The restrooms are continually clean through the day. I hope this helps. We work diligently to make sure our staff and guest are safe! Thank you
Last week we ate on plates in one of the bubbles outside.
