We had the brisket, ribs, potato salad (no fries) and beans. I witnessed all the meat being warmed in a microwave. That was a red flag because they have a sign at the entrance that states basically don't ask how long because the tastiness of their BBQ shouldn't be rushed. None the less it wasn't very good. I imagine people think this place is good because there's no competition. Drive to Marshal and get Bodacious if you want good BBQ!! Their Rib plates will be worth the drive.

Best brisket in East Texas, hands down. Absolutely contends with the big boys in the hill country. Chuck is a fantastic dude and the staff is awesome. Get there early.

This is better than 90% of the BBQ you'll find in East Texas. Every bit of flavor was there. Great smoke and a brilliant peppery bark on the ribs and brisket. There were a couple of negatives (slightly under cooked and a little chewy), but I promise the good definitely outweighs the bad. Don't pass up a chance to try this BBQ!
