Excellent place, good attention and quality of the products.

I sold my sold to an ex who has a table, if you don’t know anyone then take out of your best option. Be warned their food is amazing. It gets very addictive.

This place is a joke! They have been reading their own press clippings too much. Tried to call for a reservation. There was a recorded message that they were not taking reservations, so just come to the restaurant to walk in early. Paid a $60 cab ride for nothing. Empty restaurant, but they would not seat me. Rude and obnoxious! Don’t waste your time with these jerks…

You cannot eat at the bar. Only drinks. But you do not need a reservation to drink at the bar.
Need to know someone or someone who knows someone that has a table there.
Yes...we've done that a few times.
You need to know someone that " has a table" there. Great place!
Never pay much attention to any of my bills. It is always several hundred, and I tip generously. Plus I always have drinks and female company. Be advised they don't accept credit cards. Cash only. They don't take reservations. Tables are owned. It isn't a walk in and wait either. So unless you know someone, your best bet is dropping in for a drink at the bar, smiling, hoping to be lucky enough to be offered the owners table for two. Seen it done. Fortune favors the bold. Good luck. 🌻
Will give you 4. Ai Fiori, Santa, Carbone, Del Posto. Have a wonderful evening! 🌻
Open from 10 AM to 10 PM, serious dinner hours start around 7 to 7:30 so if lightning strikes and you can charm your way into a table it is yours for the night. That said, your best chance is off hours. Good luck Leah. 🌻
10AM to 10PM Moday to Saturday.
Can definitely have a drink at the bar. If your very lucky, even score a table. Seen it happen. Unfortunately, you can't eat at the bar or order take out. Stephen, good fortune always favors the bold. Just have a back up dinner reservation some place else, you will most probably need it.
You can get them in most supermarkets. Occasionally they'll be on sale for $3.99 a jar as opposed to the usual $7 to $9. If you see it on sale, try it. Otherwise, it's too much money for slightly above average marinara. Really, you can make any generic marinara taste just like Rao's... Just add a bunch of salt.
Street parking only
No
Try calling in the evening time, they are pretty much closed during the day
You cannot make a reservation for this location. They have a set list of patrons who have pre-set reservations each year. Only way to get in is if you're friends with one of those people. You best try the Vegas location.
Hahaha, you don't.... , you must own a table, or know someone who owns a table who is willing to give you their spot. Sometimes chilling at the bar every night for weeks MIGHT get you a TABLE. Good luck be prepared to invest a ton of your time to get a table here
Yes, as well as takeout.
None
Call the reataurant and ask to speak with Frank.
No. Celebrities are there but we didn't bother them.
It isn't that type of establishment. So no. Personally, I always check my tab, tip exceptionally well. Rao's treats you like family. 🌻
Honestly, you can't. Your best shot is walking into the bar for a drink, make nice with the bartender, hope to get the owner's table. Seen it done more than a few times. Luck favors the bold. Don't listen to the other characters, just have a reservation someplace else, because you will probably need it.🌻
I would think so
You likely cannot get a table
Rao's is booked through the year. Best bet is to walk in, have a drink at the bar, hope you can get the owner's table for two. It happens. Just make sure you have a reservation some place else, because you will probably be needing it. Good luck, hope your trip to NY is amazing! 🌻
No. Booked for 6 months out
Good luck, you should read my review of Rao's. You can roll the dice, show up for a drink or two at the bar, be friendly, wait for a miracle to happen. You definitely can't make a reservation there, tables are owned by the famous, and booked for years, your only chance, the small owner"s table. Take my advice, make a reservation somewhere else for your birthday, that is where you most likely would be dining. Oh, and the pasta with shrimp, homemade sauce, is devine. You will never know if you don't try.
I guess you would have to call, but they have a list they cater to and it also has a long waiting list, sometimes a year, so good luck with that
No they don't. That said, you can find numerous articles and reviews in magazines and newspapers. It is even mentioned on TV, often as one of the hardest restaurants to get a table at, or for its famous people with tables there.
No. They are booked up for at least a year in advance. The place only holds 38 seated. You can go and have drinks at thew large bar. There us a posibikity they may have a small table after 9:30pm. But don't count on it.
No it's open, but dinner is only by reservations and they only cater to certain financial imports. Oh by the way reservations have to be made a year in advance and if they have space. I've heard that the restaurant has moguels and actors with permanent reservations, so good luck if you wanna try and book a table
Denise you simply cannot. If you don't happen to know a famous celebrity with a table, your best bet is to show up at the bar with a smile, on a weekday because they are closed weekends, order a drink or two, hope that the bartender likes you, and you can get the owners table for two. Honestly, have done it more than a few times. Also have a friend with a table. That is your best bet. Rao's is worth the effort for the sauce alone. Love the rich flavors, ambience, electric patrons and staff. Cash only, tip well. Good luck!
None, so bring a pocket full of cash. Your welcome at the bar for a drink. Good luck getting a table.
I love how RR says usually spend as if he goes there often. No one etas often unless you are family and even my ex qho is family couldnt get in. Haha. Answer: over 100.00 and not more than 175.00 per person if you get wine and tip well.
