The food here Is amazing and authentic! I walked in wanting a little something to fill me for my trip and it reminded me of home. The owner is so sweet and I definitely will be coming back again. The food is heaven sent.

This is by far the best authentic little Mexican restaurant I've had in a long time. Like everyone else I saw the TikTok video the owner's son posted and I absolutely had to come down and try it. I order the Barbacoa and my husband had the Chimichanga, it did not disappoint. The waitress was very nice and atentative we got the food quick and left with our bellies full. I'm definitely coming back and determine to try everything on the menu.

Got the barbacoa de borrego and was not disappointed! The lamb in the tacos was great, and the soup was scrumptious as well, with chickpeas (maybe a little hominy?), something which I thought was yuca, and a delicious lamby-chipotley taste. It was under $13 with tax, and quite filling!

Going down hill. Stopped by Nicos today for lunch and ordered a carne asada burrito smothered with green chile verde, no rice no beans. What I got was a burrito with rice and beans that I specifically told then I didnt want and the burrito was smothered with about 3 cents worth of green verde sauce with no meat. When I brought up the issue to the guy at the counter he tried to tell me that the extra meat that they try to justify doubling the price with is inside the burrito which is complete nonsense. Anyone who has ever eaten at a mexican restaurant knows smothered means smothered with sauce and MEAT. So they doubled the price, from $7 to $14 by putting 3 cents worth of green chile verde then claiming the meat from the sauce was inside the burrito. I have eaten at Nicos for about 7 years and always had great food but when they try to rob their customers with obvious lies they lost me as a customer. Will never eat there again, ever. It was an obvious and blatant ripoff. The only thing smothered in this purchase was the $7 I got ripped off. Threw it in the garbage can and went to Taco Bell. To recap: A burrito is $7, a burrito with 3 cents worth of green chili verde with no meat is $14.
