I have been with URE for years and have always had great experiences with customer service until today. I was dismissed and hung up on when I apparently asked one too many questions. If you have URE, prepare to just be another number. Customer appreciation and care is a thing of the past.

I have lived in Northern Union County for almost 20 years now. I can count exactly one time our power went out, and even then it was restored in less than 1 hr. I want to thank everyone that works there and the people that have worked there. With this latest storm I can't lie, I expected to lose power and once again this co op did outstanding because my power didn't even flicker. So, from me and my family I want to thank your company from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard work. Thanks.

Shout out to URE for their workers had breaker problems called electrician out to fix and had to call URE to come shut off electric they were prompt and this was on the weekend very nice people thanks URE

Hi Daniel – Rest assured URE is equipped to handle new services on our system. Unfortunately, outages do occur beyond our control - trees down, car hitting poles, and most common birds and squirrels. Last night's outage was caused by a tree that fell on our line. Our first priority is to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. You can sign up for SmartHub (using ure.com) - it's the best way to report outages.
